Cottage Pro dashboard

The workshop, not just the library

Cottage Pro used to read as a bundle of reports. The dashboard is what makes the $15 worth it after the first week: the place your permit checklist, your recipes, your labels, your prices, and your money all live — saved in your account, not in a PDF you have to find again.

$15 once, lifetime access. No monthly fee. Free tier stays free.

What's inside

Every tab, in one place

Start

Five steps from home kitchen to first sale: where you bake, your numbers for the year, your state's sales cap, and where you left off. The dashboard opens here, not on a blank overview.

Business

Step 1, as a checklist: business name, sole proprietor or LLC, a free EIN from the IRS, and your state's official links. Crosodo doesn't file anything for you and gives no legal or tax advice — this is the checklist and where the official form lives.

Permits

Your county's permit checklist — the office that takes your filing, the timeline, and the permit report. This is the part buyers used to get as a PDF alone; in the dashboard it's a living checklist.

Foods

Can I sell it? All 43 foods, with the verdict for your state — yes, conditional, or no — plus the cap and the statute. Recipes live here as a sub-tab: your recipes, saved with their ingredient costs, so a recipe is priced once and reused.

Labels

Your state's required wording, word for word where the state mandates it, plus a printable label designer — and a library, one saved label per product, so next market you reprint instead of retyping. Finished designs can be worked on in Canva; template links are coming to the library.

Calculators

Price a batch from your own costs — ingredients, your time, overhead — and save the calculation. The six free calculators stay free on the public site; saving is what the dashboard adds. No market prices are invented: every number is one you entered.

Financials

Log sales and expenses in one place, watch your state's annual sales cap, see the profit line (sales minus expenses), and export a CSV for tax time.

Reports

Every state report, every county Permit Guide, and every PDF you've downloaded — the full library that Cottage Pro unlocks.

Storefront

Your public baker page at crosodo.com/p/your-name: headline, bio, social links, and your listings.

Rule watch

Law changes tracked for your state, so a rule change doesn't catch you at market.

About the dashboard

Is the dashboard included in the $15, or is it extra?

+
Included. Cottage Pro is $15 once, with lifetime access — the dashboard, every state report, every county Permit Guide, the label packet, and the Verified badge path are all in that one payment. There is no monthly fee and nothing inside the dashboard gets paywalled again later.

What can I do for free, without paying?

+
Everything public stays free: your county's answer, every state and county page, the free county PDF, the Can I Sell checker, the six calculators, and the label templates. In the dashboard you can save your first recipe, your first calculation, and your first label for free. The full saved library — every recipe, label, and calculation — plus expenses and CSV export come with Cottage Pro.

Do my recipes and labels live in my account?

+
Yes. Recipes, calculations, label drafts, sales, and expenses are saved to your Crosodo account (Firebase) and are there when you sign back in — on any device. The only copy that lives in your browser is a convenience cache; the account is the source of truth.

Does Crosodo file my LLC or EIN for me?

+
No. The Business tab is a checklist with official links — the SBA and IRS pages where the real forms live. An EIN is free from the IRS; never pay a middleman for one.

I don't use Canva. Do I need it for labels?

+
No. The in-dashboard label designer covers the legal wording and prints. Canva is an option for making a label prettier: curated Canva templates will be listed in the Labels tab, and one click opens a copy in your Canva account to finish there.

What if I sell in two counties?

+
The Permits tab holds a workspace per county, and the dashboard follows the county you picked as where you bake. Label wording follows your state; the permit checklist follows your county.

Start with where you bake.

The dashboard opens on a first page that shows the five steps and where you left off. Pick your county and the rest follows.
