Pets out of the kitchen while you bake · State rule (counties usually restate it)
Pets in a Kentucky microbakery kitchen
Kentucky writes it down: keep pets (and children under 12) out of the kitchen during home-based processing. Not out of the house.
Cottage / exemption path
902 KAR 45:090 requires home-based processors to keep pets or other animals out of the kitchen during processing-related activities, and to stop ordinary domestic kitchen use while processing.
Inspected / home-bakery path
Home-based microprocessors have the same kitchen-during-activity animal rule.
Research note
This is the clearest “during production only” written rule in the South. It is not a dwelling ban.
