- Two pathways: (1) Cottage Food Registration (UDAF): requires UDAF registration and food handler's permit; broader sales rights; commercial kitchen equipment prohibited; no sales cap. (2) Home Consumption and Homemade Food Act: no state registration needed but only direct-to-sale at farmers markets or direct locations. Non-PHF foods only.
