Act 42 (2025) cottage-food operator exemption does not write a dwelling pet ban. Keep pets out of the kitchen during production as sanitation.
Inspected / home-bakery path
Home bakery / home-caterer licenses are inspected. Animals in food-prep areas can fail that inspection.
