How to price cake with buttercream
Crosodo does not publish a price for cake with buttercream — there is no market-price dataset behind a number here, so none is shown. Your price comes from your own costs: price = total batch cost ÷ (1 − margin), where total batch cost = ingredients + labor + overhead. Run your own numbers in the calculator below.
The formula
1. Add ingredients + labor (hours × rate) + overhead / packaging to get total batch cost. 2. Divide by yield to get cost per unit. 3. Divide cost per unit by (1 − margin) to get the price. Margin is profit as a share of the price; markup is profit as a share of cost. They are not interchangeable.
What to count
Put your own numbers into the calculator — nothing on this page is a price to copy. Count ingredients, labor at a real rate (not zero), and overhead including packaging. Price delivery and setup separately, not absorbed into the product price.
- Use the cake calculator for tiers and complexity — a flat per-serving guess hides both.
- Delivery and setup are separate lines, not absorbed into the cake price.
