Cottage Baker
The job description.
About Cottage Baker
Cottage baker is the actual legal term, in actual statutes, on actual state agriculture department forms. It refers to anyone who bakes for sale from their home kitchen under their state's cottage food law. It's also a self-applied identity — the people who've decided baking matters enough to sell. Periwinkle on butter cotton. The most literal shirt in the collection.

Materials, fit & care
Built to be worn hard and washed often — at the Saturday market, in the kitchen at 3am, and everywhere in between.
Comfort Colors 1717 (6.1 oz garment-dyed) for the vintage hand-feel, or Bella+Canvas 3001 where a smoother print surface suits the design. Pre-shrunk and softer with every wash.
A slightly relaxed unisex cut from S–3XL. Size up one for an oversized look. The garment-dyed cotton drapes rather than clings.
Direct-to-garment with food-contact-safe water-based inks, so the print breathes with the fabric instead of sitting on top of it. Bake in it — flour and butter wash out cold.
Turn inside out, machine wash cold, tumble dry low or hang to dry. No bleach, no ironing directly on the print. The color deepens slightly as the garment-dye settles.
For the baker who has every tool but no good shirt
