About Beurre Plastique
Beurre plastique is the technical name for butter at the perfect lamination consistency — pliable, cool, never crumbling, never melting. Get the butter right, and the rest is just folding. Get it wrong, and you're starting over. A French phrase for an American obsession. Periwinkle blue on butter cream, like the inside of a pastry shop in Lyon at 6am.

Materials, fit & care
Built to be worn hard and washed often — at the Saturday market, in the kitchen at 3am, and everywhere in between.
Comfort Colors 1717 (6.1 oz garment-dyed) for the vintage hand-feel, or Bella+Canvas 3001 where a smoother print surface suits the design. Pre-shrunk and softer with every wash.
A slightly relaxed unisex cut from S–3XL. Size up one for an oversized look. The garment-dyed cotton drapes rather than clings.
Direct-to-garment with food-contact-safe water-based inks, so the print breathes with the fabric instead of sitting on top of it. Bake in it — flour and butter wash out cold.
Turn inside out, machine wash cold, tumble dry low or hang to dry. No bleach, no ironing directly on the print. The color deepens slightly as the garment-dye settles.
